Bactiguard Enters New Partnership for Switzerland

Bactiguard has entered a new partnership with Euromed Swiss AG (Euromed), a leading, specialized Swiss distributor of medical devices. Euromed will be distributing the entire Bactiguard product portfolio for infection prevention in Switzerland.

"By working with Euromed and their experienced, professional team, we will increase the pace of our European market expansion. Euromed is a leading provider of medical devices to both public and private hospitals and we are convinced that they have the competence and the resources needed to offer advanced solutions and drive Bactiguard's sales in Switzerland,” says Jonas Östregård, SVP Sales & Marketing at Bactiguard.

"Euromed has a strong focus on innovative technology and specializes in, among other things, vascular applications, where we work close to the intensive care units. Reducing healthcare associated infections and preventing antibiotic resistance are high on the agenda within Swiss healthcare. Bactiguard's innovative, infection preventive solution saves lives, protects vulnerable patients and shortens their hospital stay. Therefore, we are very happy about this new partnership,” says Reinhold Eder, Member of the Board at Euromed.

The collaboration is based on an exclusive distribution agreement for the entire Bactiguard infection prevention BIP portfolio, with products for the urinary tract, the blood stream and respiratory tract, and covers Switzerland.
